UPS has announced that it will work with Thor Trucks by integrating a fully electric Thor Trucks utility into its Los Angeles fleet.
The utility truck will be a carrier of 9 to 12 tons (class 6). It will have a range of 160 km which should increase in the future. The battery is developed and designed by Thor Trucks.
These trucks will be tested for 6 months by UPS and if the test is successful, the company should order additional trucks to Thor Trucks.
