The heavy truck vignette sent to oblivion

News of the 18/03/2019

The Senate chose to set aside the truck sticker track that had been considered by the government.

This vignette was intended to participate in the financing of the upgrade and construction of infrastructures. The government also aimed to reduce the share of the TICPE (Domestic consumption tax on energy products) allocated to infrastructure by supplementing with a rise in revenue from automatic radars. The Senate rejected this revalorization by justifying that the radars did not have the role of filling the coffers of the state.
