A first hydrogen station for heavy goods vehicles in 2022

Air Liquide has just announced that it is starting to build the first hydrogen station in Europe for heavy goods vehicles in France.

The station will be located in Fos-sur-Mer and will produce one tonne of hydrogen per day, filling up with 20 trucks. This station is financed by numerous public and private partners including the South Region, actors of the large distribution such as Carrefour, Coca-Cola and Monoprix.

The launch is planned for 2022 and will supply 44 trucks specially manufactured for the project. The station can also supply buses.
