The gendarmerie platoon carried out a check on the A7 in Valence and intercepted a truck which had an overload of 23 tonnes!
The weighing by wiper of this six-axle logging truck revealed a total weight of 71.4 tonnes instead of the authorized 48 tonnes. But the gendarmes also noted 11 other offenses including in particular in relation to driving times.
The transport company was fined 3555 euros and had to split the load on another truck.
