The BOSS (Official Social Security Bulletin) has just added a new rule for the accommodation allowance with the presence of a bunk in the truck.
If it is shown that the driver does not incur any costs for his accommodation, the mere presence of a berth will no longer be sufficient to exempt the accommodation allowance from charges and must be included in the social base.
To continue to be exempt, drivers must provide proof of expenses incurred with expense reports.
