Companies in the agri-food sector have come to realize that in case of hard Brexit, the pallets used until now will not be allowed.
Indeed, if a Brexit without agreement arises, the wooden pallets will be subject to the rules of the WTO (World Trade Organization) which involves a specific heat treatment and an anti-contamination cleaning.
This is not currently the case and would cause a break in deliveries.
