Bourg-en-Bresse produces Renault Trucks' E-Tech T and C electric trucks, which complete its 100% electric offering, the largest in Europe. The factory was transformed and employees trained to assemble these vehicles on the same line as the diesels, then equip them with the electric propulsion unit and batteries in a dedicated space. The E-Tech T and C are available in several versions, with electric motors up to 660 hp and batteries up to 540 kWh. The batteries are quickly rechargeable and can travel up to 500 km. They are supplied by Samsung SDI and assembled in Ghent, in a Volvo group factory.
