It is now again prohibited to cross Germany by heavy goods vehicle except in the Saarland.
Following the health crisis, the various Länder making up Germany had gradually authorized the circulation of heavy goods vehicles on Sundays to ensure security of supply.
To date, all the Länder except the Saar have lifted this exceptional authorization. In the event of an inspection, the fine varies from € 120 to € 570 depending on the region.
