Since Monday 8:00 am, Germany has closed its borders to all vehicles that are neither freight carriers nor posted workers.
The borders concerned are those with France, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and Luxembourg. Customs officials are instructed not to allow unauthorized vehicles to pass.
Germany has taken this exceptional measure first of all to limit the advance of the coronavirus but also so that French border residents do not come to rob stores as it has already happened.
