The Secretary of State for the Economy Agnès Pannier-Runacher announced this January 21 measures in favor of carriers following the losses accumulated because of strikes.
Like businesses previously that had been severely affected by strikes, the government has taken steps to help businesses in difficulty. This aid will be allocated on a case-by-case basis.
Among these, we can cite: postponement of social or tax deadlines, acceleration of VAT refunds or recourse to partial activity.
The secretary clarified "this particular context will be taken into account when verifying the rest and driving times of heavy goods vehicle drivers, in particular to facilitate the resumption of activity".
