For summer 2024, additional traffic restriction measures have been announced for heavy goods vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes. These vehicles will be prohibited from accessing the entire metropolitan road network from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the following Saturdays: July 6, 20, and 27; August 3, 10, 17, and 24.
On the other hand, a partial lifting of restrictions will be applied from July 19 to September 16, 2024 for certain transport of goods in Île-de-France and neighboring departments. The exemptions will concern the following categories:
Transport dedicated exclusively to food, hygiene and health products, both for humans and animals.
Hotel logistics services, including delivery of clean linen and collection of dirty linen.
Vehicles specialized in waste collection and processing.
These adjustments aim to optimize traffic flow and road safety during the busy summer period, while guaranteeing essential services to the population.
