In partnership with Shell, Iveco has launched a European campaign to prove the performance and sustainability of trucks running on bioLNG (liquefied natural gas), an energy solution aimed at net zero emissions. An S-Way truck powered by bioLNG and carrying 25 t of cargo left Berlin and crossed 2,155 km in 6 stages across Europe (Germany, Netherlands and Italy), to get closer to potential customers. The S-Way used 560 kg of bioLNG, producing 342 kg of CO2, which is 2 t less CO2 than its diesel equivalent.
