A new tax was planned for companies having recourse to short contracts when the number was higher than the average for the road sector, in the form of a penalty to unemployment insurance. This taxation is temporarily put to sleep by the Council of State.
The purpose of this new device was to limit precarious contracts.
The main unions in the sector (FNTR, TLF and OTRE) had appealed to the Council of State on this matter, which therefore annulled part of the implementing decree of July 26, 2019 for a procedural matter.
These leaders welcome this decision, which is welcome in an already difficult context.
