The economy impacted by the lack of drivers in Great Britain

Lack of drivers in Great Britain

Great Britain is so short of drivers that deliveries not made have a real impact on the economy.

Due to Brexit, it is compulsory to have a visa to work in the United Kingdom and this will immediately lead to a drop in the number of available drivers: 90,000 positions are to be filled.

The consequence of this shortage of drivers is to no longer be able to make all the deliveries: a third of them are not made.

Industry professionals estimate that it will take many months to train UK drivers.
