The Mercedes eActros 600, a 40-tonne battery-electric truck, achieved a remarkable performance by crossing the Alps fully loaded. Starting from Stuttgart, he crossed the difficult climb towards the Swabian Alb at Aichelberg, then Kufstein and the Brenner Pass, before arriving in Bolzano, in South Tyrol. He covered the 530 km journey without needing to recharge his battery, in around seven hours. The eActros 600 will be revealed to the world on October 10 and its series production is planned for 2024, Mercedes announces.
