A new agreement in the European Parliament has just been reached by members which provides for calculating motorway pages solely on the basis of distance and CO² emissions for heavy goods vehicles.
This new provision excludes all other elements used, including in particular the flat-rate vignettes provided for a certain period.
If this new law is approved, it will be applied from 2029 across the whole of Europe.
