The French equipment manufacturer Valeo has just introduced its new XtraVue Trailer CES system from Las Vegas which allows to see through the trailers of trucks.
The system works with a set of cameras located at the back of the truck whose images are then applied to the front of the trailer as if it were transparent. The driver looks on a screen to see the result.
Thus the driver can maneuver safely with a global vision of his environment.
