The Ministry of Transport has launched DiaLog, a database intended to enrich GPS solutions for trucks in France. Available since March 1, 2023, DiaLog lists traffic orders for heavy goods vehicles and delivery areas. Guidance solution publishers can connect to DiaLog to integrate this data into their tools and help carriers plan routes adapted to the constraints of their vehicles.
Unlike existing data sources, DiaLog is an additional source dedicated to the French territory, updated by local authorities. The database will be regularly enriched by the territories which can register on DiaLog to communicate new road restrictions.
The Ministry of Transport plans to equip DiaLog with new functionalities to meet all the needs and uses in terms of road regulations.
