Trucks will have to emit 30% less CO² by 2030

The European Union has just adopted a text that obliges truck manufacturers to drastically reduce CO² emissions on new models.

The European Parliament adapted this text with 474 votes in favor, 47 against and 11 abstentions. The new regulation also stipulates that manufacturers will have to favor diesel alternatives and vehicles with zero or low emissions (electric, hydrogen, etc.) must represent at least 2% of sales by 2025.
